inVision: my App of the Year 2015

Here we are again. It's time to choose my App of the Year, the one that stood above the crowd, the one that made me spend hours enjoying each session, the one that saved countless meetings. Yup, it's inVision.

Why?

  1. It's very simple to create an interactive prototype (efficiency is up the roof; it saved me a lot of time and travel).
  2. It's incredibly simple to share and get feedback. A prototype it truly is worth a 1000 meetings.
  3. It's WOWly simple to keep track of project workflow, activity or assets. If you are attached to a project, you won't miss a thing. Moreover, it's always updating, adding new features and products; I am very, very, very eager to try Motion when it comes out.

Looking forward

And that's not even the half of it. As a company, inVision manages to keep its users and the design enthusiasts engage. From awesome blog articles, cool webinars and fully loaded e-courses to unexpected surprises (can't wait to see Design Disruptors) and the newly released Marketplace.

Runner-up

Very close this year was Principle. I fricking love it and I can't wait to create even more prototypes in 2016 with it. Unfortunately, I wish there was more a bit of collaboration than showcase, one of many reasons it took second place. But Hey! there's always next year and Yes! it's a great time to be a designer.
