I like to draw. I've done it since I remember, but never tried that hard enough to perfect my skills. I always made excuses like "Faculty", "Work", "No time", "No talent" and so on. Well, I think there is a moment in each of our lives when you shift your mindset and just say: F#ck it, I can and I will! So I started drawing again (especially cartoons) and never felt better.
This article opens the Illustration Series and presents to you some of my latest cartoon shenanigans as presented in my Dribbble account.
Cow of Steel
This illustration is a crossover between the CartoonNetwork series ”Cow and Chicken” and DC superheroes - Superman and Batman.
Bellum
I like the old CartoonNetwork from my childhood. Here, Johnny Bravo hits on Ms. Bellum (Powerpuff Girls).
Revenge
I didn't quite agree on how the producers/writters treated Louis (the Suits character) so I made an illustration where he is up an ready for revenge.
The Banana Genesis
Just the Minions from DespicableMe creating the Banana, then the Universe.
DragonBallX
This illustration took me two full days, but I'm very happy with the final result. It's a fusion between Goku (DragonBallZ) and Wolverine (X-Men).
Ninja Puppy versus The Shuriken Cats
A personal project I enjoyed creating. It was made for a mascot contest. It didn't won, but Hey! I kept it.
Samurai Stark
This project gaze up a lot of attention and admiration, mostly because of the success of the two (Samurai Jack and Tony Stark aka Iron Man). As you can see - I like to create crossovers between characters.
Chicks dig cats
The title says it all.
PS: I managed to get some of these illustrations showcased at a local gallery organized by Papergirl Iasi. The feedback I received was awesome. The idea behind Papergirl is that artists donate part of their works and the team behind the project distributes them on the streets to random pedestrians... on bikes. How cool is that!
